How Are We Making The Difference?
Lorena Perez McGill is tireless in her efforts to represent immigrants. When she isn’t serving clients, she is leading the communities she serves towards clearer understanding of immigrants’ rights. Whether she is leading the Immigration Legal Aid Coalition Clinic in Montgomery County, or volunteering with the Montgomery County Women’s Center, Lone Star Legal Aid, Kids in Need of Defense and the Houston Immigration Legal Services Collaborative, she is a champion for immigrants who seek justice and fairness in our legal system.

American Immigration Lawyers Association, Member (National, and Houston and Mid-South Chapters)
Lorena is a member of AILA, “a non-partisan, non-for-profit organization that provides continuing legal education, information, professional services, and expertise to its members”. American Society of International Law, Member
As a Member of the American Society of International Law, former co-Chair of the International Organizations Interest Group, and current member of the International Refugee Law and International Migration Interest Groups, Lorena stays informed on the current trends pertaining to worldwide refugee and migration policies and pertaining to the laws applicable to international civil servants by administrative tribunals.
Dispute Resolution Center of Montgomery County, Inc., Volunteer and Advisory Committee Member
As volunteer and Member of the DRC-MC Advisory Committee, Lorena assists this organization in providing mediation and conflict resolution to residents in Montgomery County, and maintaining a group of properly trained volunteers available to offer those services.

Associate Attorney
Adriana is deeply committed to serving the immigrant community with compassion and dedication. Originally from Venezuela, she earned her law degree before pursuing advanced legal studies abroad. Adriana completed a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in International Business Transactions in London and an LL.M. in U.S. Law at the University of Houston.
As an immigrant who has personally experienced the challenges of starting a new life in the United States, Adriana is passionate about helping others navigate the immigration system and achieve safety and stability. Her work is guided by a belief in fairness, opportunity, and the power of advocacy to create lasting change for those seeking a better future.
Knowledge Is Power
Lorena obtained her Licenciatura en Derecho from the Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra in Santiago, Dominican Republic, and her LL.M. from Georgetown University Law Center in Washington, DC. She is admitted to practice in New York and in the District of Columbia. She practices exclusively in the area of immigration law. She speaks Spanish.
